Collection O Hotel Del Portal, Puebla, Puebla

I stayed at Collection O Hotel Del Portal and was really impressed by the location right across from the Zocalo; it made exploring Puebla super convenient. However, the service left much to be desired, as some staff were not welcoming and the overall experience was marred by dated rooms and disappointing breakfast options. While I enjoyed the historical charm, the hotel definitely needs some updates to enhance the stay.

My stay at Collection O Hotel Del Portal had its highlights, but there were significant drawbacks. The location right by the Zocalo was fantastic, making it easy to explore the city. Unfortunately, the comfort level left much to be desired, as the beds were quite hard and my room felt disconnected from the outside world. almost prison-like. Additionally, I had a distressing experience when I was called early in the morning for a wake-up that I never requested.
